        Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data NameGen AI collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
    

1. Information We Collect

Automatically collected:

A randomly generated device identifier (used to authenticate you as a guest — never tied to your real identity)
App usage data: number of daily generations, selected language preference
Subscription status (premium or free)

We do NOT collect:

Your name, email address, or any personal account information
Your location
Your contacts, camera, microphone, or files
Any data that can identify you personally

2. How We Use Your Information

The data collected is used solely to:

Authenticate your device as a guest user to access our AI service
Enforce daily usage limits (3 generations/day for free users)
Remember your language preference across sessions
Manage your subscription status

3. Advertising

NameGen AI uses Google AdMob to serve advertisements to free users. AdMob may collect and use data to show personalized ads, including:

Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
IP address and approximate location
App interaction data

You can opt out of personalized ads at any time through your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

Premium subscribers are not shown interstitial or rewarded ads.

4. In-App Purchases & Billing

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. NameGen AI does not collect, store, or process any payment information. All billing data is handled by Google in accordance with their Payments Privacy Notice.

5. AI-Generated Content

The business descriptions and keywords you enter are sent to our backend server to generate name suggestions using AI. This content is:

Processed in real time and not stored permanently
Not associated with your identity
Never sold or shared with third parties

6. Data Storage

All app preferences (language, usage count, premium status) are stored locally on your device using Android DataStore. No personal data is stored on our servers beyond what is necessary to process your AI request.

7. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob – Advertising SDK Privacy Policy

Groq / OpenRouter / Gemini – AI inference providers (input text processed, not stored)

8. Children's Privacy

NameGen AI is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has used this app, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Data Retention

Local data (preferences, usage count) is retained on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data. No personal data is retained on our servers.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

Access the data held about you
Request deletion of your data
Opt out of personalized advertising
