This Privacy Policy explains how AI Resume Builder ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the App.

Information You Provide
The App helps you create resumes and CVs. To generate a resume, you may choose to enter:
- Name and job title
- Email address, phone number, and location
- Work experience, skills, education, certifications, and courses
- Resume language and template choices
You decide what information to enter. Please avoid entering sensitive information that is not needed for your resume.
Information Collected Automatically
The App may collect or generate technical information needed to operate the service, including:
- A device identifier used for guest authentication and backend generation limits
- App tokens used to connect securely to our backend service
- Advertising identifiers and consent status when ads are shown
- Basic diagnostic information related to app performance, errors, and network requests
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Generate resumes and CVs using AI
- Show your generated resume inside the App
- Save resumes locally on your device when you choose to save them
- Create, export, copy, or share resume content and PDF files
- Manage free generation limits and subscription status through our backend
- Show ads and manage privacy choices using Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability
AI Resume Generation
When you tap generate, the App sends the resume details you entered to our backend service so the AI resume can be created. This may include contact details if you entered them in the App. The generated result is returned to the App for preview, export, copying, and sharing.
Local Storage
Saved resumes are stored locally on your device. You can delete saved resumes from inside the App. PDF files may be temporarily created in the App cache when you export or share a resume.
Ads and Consent
The App uses Google AdMob to show ads. Where required, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage consent before ads are requested. Google and its partners may process advertising identifiers, device information, and consent choices to provide and measure ads.

Subscriptions and Purchases
If subscriptions or in-app purchases are enabled, payments are processed by Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details. Subscription status may be shared with our backend so that premium features, such as unlimited generation or ad-free exports, can be enabled.
Sharing Information
We may share information with:
- Backend service providers that process resume generation requests
- Google services such as AdMob, User Messaging Platform, and Google Play Billing
- Apps you choose when you use Android sharing, PDF viewing, or copying features
- Authorities if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
We do not sell your resume content.
Data Retention
Locally saved resumes remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. Backend request data may be retained for a limited period for service operation, abuse prevention, debugging, and legal compliance. Advertising data is retained according to Google's policies and your consent choices.
Your Choices
- You can choose what resume information to enter.
- You can delete saved resumes in the App.
- You can manage ad consent choices through the App when privacy options are available.
- You can reset or manage advertising preferences in your device settings.
- You can contact us to request help with privacy questions or deletion requests.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Processing
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ. We take steps intended to protect information in accordance with this policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App or store listing.
