This Privacy Policy describes how the Eid Greeting Cards mobile application
("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information. By installing or
using the App, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please
do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
When you create a greeting card, you may enter:
Recipient name — used to personalise the rendered card image.
Sender name — used to sign the rendered card image.
Greeting text — either typed by you or generated by our AI service.
Language and template preferences — stored locally on your device.
Recipient and sender names are sent to our card-rendering server only to produce the
final card image. They are not stored against a user identity on our servers and are not
used for any advertising, profiling, or marketing purpose. Recent recipients are cached
on your device for convenience and can be cleared by uninstalling the App.
1.2 Information collected automatically
We collect limited diagnostic and analytics data to keep the App running well:
Device and app information — device model, operating system version, app version, installation ID, language, country.
Card rendering and AI text API at my-ai-gateway.shop —
operated by us solely to render cards and generate greeting text.
4. Data Retention
On your device: preferences, recent recipients, and favourites persist until you uninstall the App or clear app data.
On our servers: we do not retain the personal text of your cards beyond the time needed to render and deliver them. Rendered card images may be cached for a short period (typically up to 30 days) to speed up re-downloads.
Analytics and crash data: retained per Firebase defaults (typically 14 months for analytics, 90 days for crash logs).
5. Your Rights and Choices
Opt out of analytics: uninstall the App or disable usage & diagnostics in your device settings.
Opt out of personalised ads: in Android, go to Settings → Google → Ads and enable Opt out of Ads Personalization, or reset your advertising ID.
Disable notifications: turn off notifications for the App in your device settings at any time.
Delete your data: uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data. For any server-side cached data, contact us at the address below.
EU / UK users (GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.
California users (CCPA): you have the right to know what we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any "sale" of personal information (we do not sell).
6. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for all ages but is not directed at children under 13. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has
provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
All network traffic to our servers uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher). Crash and analytics
data is transmitted via Google's secure SDKs. No method of transmission over the internet
is 100% secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards.
8. International Data Transfers
Firebase and AdMob may process data in countries outside your country of residence,
including the United States. By using the App, you consent to such transfers, which are
protected by appropriate safeguards under Google's contractual frameworks.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected by
updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after
a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
